Pawsh Dog Boutique and Salon in Boston's Back Bay

Back Bay’s Pawsh Dog Boutique & Salon

Well coiffed Boston dogs go to the Pawsh Dog Boutique and Salon on Newbury Street, actually my often far from coiffed dog likes going there as well. But, for those living in Boston’s Back Bay, Mike and Nancy Maida the owners of Pawsh, are a fantastic resource for dog owners, friendly and their shop is well worth checking out.

You can easily find Pawsh by the stream of dog walkers and bringing their clients dogs here after a good day of playing with other dogs. My theory is to generally go where the pros go and avoid the hassle like they do. Pawsh does a fantastic job consistently, which can be rare these days. If your dog needs a bath and a trim or you are looking for a new collar, dog bed or a new toy for your favorite canine to chew on Pawsh has a great selection of services and products.

Pawsh Services And Products

  • Dog Food Delivery (let Pawsh haul dog food in Back Bay for you)
  • Spa (Dog Wash)
  • Salon (Grooming, Nails, Tooth Brushing, De-Skunking, ect.)
  • Boutique (great selection of collars, apparel, beds, bags and bowls for dogs)

Pawsh is a great place for dog owners to meet and socialize as well. Mike and Nancy often host holiday parties which benefit the local dog charities. I for one have grown very fond of such events as I like the company of dog people and it is always nice to have my dog welcome too.

Pawsh has a great location just off Newbury Street on Gloucester Street. On one side of the store you will find the shopping of Newbury Street, on the other the grassy and beautiful stroll of the Commonwealth Mall.  A few blocks of wandering up Comm Ave will lead you to the Boston Commons and Public Gardens, one of my favorite places to socialize with our dog.
