Jay Stebbins - Boston Dog Photographer; Posing with a camera for photographing dogs

Boston’s Best Dog Photographers

I am a Boston Dog Photographer, who absolutely loves creating unique portraits of dogs.  From off-beat action shots of dog playing, to carefully composed artistic images and portraits capturing the expression of a dog being who they are; dog photography has consumed me. I can be commissioned to create a portrait of your dog (and you as well).  I am available to shoot commercial photography, particularly if you would like a complex concept for advertising involving dogs. The Boston dog photography on Fido Loves is an example of my past work.

Feel free to contact me to discuss rates and concepts

Boston has a number of great dog photographers, As I dog photographer, here are some other dog photographers whose work I admire.

Spaniel named Clive photographed by Li Ward of Fat Orange Cat Studios, Boston

Fat Orange Cat Studio

Li Ward is the owner of Fat Orange Cat Studio located in the South End of Boston. I think her photography is simply stunning; especially her work shooting pictures of dogs in people homes and some of the beautiful nooks of Boston. Take a moment, check out the Fat Orange Cat Studio Gallery and Blog. Li Ward is the photographer who took the stunning picture of the late iconic Weimaraner known here in Boston. Li can also be found on Facebook where she posts regularly; she is a hard working Boston dog photographer.

Li also has a nice selection of prints, books and other ways to display the stunning dog portraits she creates…

Cold Nose PhotographyCold Nose Photography

Stacy Hedman of Cold Nose Photography, is based on Cape Cod and in Boston. Stacey often travels around New England taking her beautiful dog pictures. I was really impressed to see she takes pictures at the Animal Rescue League free of charge, a really nice touch. I think her work is absolutely beautiful.

Stacey has a great website, Cold Nose Photography, where she also writes about her photo-shoots and canine models, a very nice read… Make sure you find the pictures of the two Great Danes playing on the beach; those pictures, are some of my favorites. Undoubtedly, Stacey Hedman knows of some very special beaches for taking pictures of dogs and has a fantastic eye.

Aubrey Greene Photography

Aubrey Greene a professional photographer specializing in creative & fun pet portraiture in the Boston area. She lives in Brookline, MA with her husband, Matt, and dog, Rupert. Aubrey travels all over Massachusetts and New England taking photographs of people’s pets. Aubrey loves the opportuity to be invited to client’s homes (or more often their yards!) for the chance to capture that extra special picture.

Aubrey offers many different packages to people that include products such as magnets, coffee table books and large mounted prints. The most popular package is the Puppy’s First Year where she photographs your pup 3 times over the course of a year. This is one of her favorite packages to shoot and ultimately the most fun, because she and the pup get to know each other over time. By the last shoot Aubrey Greene considers the pup a friend who she has gone over to play with.

Maria Andrews, although based in Quincy, travels throughout New England capturing fantastic images of dogs, cats and there families. Currently at the top of her White Whiskers Photography website is this fantastic picture of a white dog seemingly looking up from behind her blog. You should definitely take a moment to see the pictures in her online gallery as well. Maria Andrews has been shooting portraits for clients and other dog related events throughout New England.

A dogs life in Boston PhotographyPenzi Pet Photography

Kelly Allen’s name was passed on to me through a friend who uses her services both as dog walker and photographer. An interesting mix that makes perfect sense. I have to assume her dog walking and sitting clients have some incredible shots of their dogs at play and rest.

Kelly’s has two websites as well. Here is a link for Penzi Pet Photography and a second for all the “Dog’s Life in Boston” dog walking and sitting services she offers. I think Kelly is a fantastic photographer you can find right here in Boston.
