You know you are doing something right, when the producers of the HGTV show "My First Place" tap you on the shoulder to host an upcoming episode, right here in Boston. I am sure most people have watched the HGTV show which features first time home buyers working with a real estate agent searching for their first home. The Harborview in the Charlestown Navy Yard might be one of the most dog friendly luxury rental buildings in Boston. It is rare to find a luxury apartment building, in Boston, that will accept larger dogs. This luxury building does not have a weight limit for dogs, there is a two dog limit and the usual breed restrictions. Located on the waterfront, in one of Boston's most dog friendly neighborhoods, you can comfortably live with your dog within minutes of downtown Boston.

The Charlestown Navy Yard just might be Boston's most dog friendly neighborhood. If you were to just quickly drive through the Navy Yard, you would be hard pressed to miss the statuesque brick and granite buildings from the ship building era. Or the large grassy parks overlooking the harbor. You would certainly not have missed the magnificent dry docks where ships used to come in for repair. The wooden Boston Harborwalk guides you along this scenic waterfront Boston community.

Boston’s Most Dog Friendly Neighborhoods

One of the best things we can do for our dogs, and more importantly, our own sanity, is find a dog friendly place to live. Living in a neighborhood where there is a dog park for your dog to socialize, a nearby tree for those late night bathroom breaks and a dogs allowed mentality, are all important considerations when searching for a dog friendly home in Boston.

When I am not writing articles for Fido Loves, I am searching for dog friendly apartments and homes for clients moving to Boston. During the past six months I started taking notes as I looked at the various Boston neighborhoods and how they rate as a dog friendly neighborhood. I had sought out to answer the question; "Which neighborhoods in Boston are the most dog friendly?". I am very pleased to announce I am working as a "Dog Friendly Real Estate Agent" right in the heart of Boston's Back Bay at the Warren Residential Group. I am very glad to be able to apply my knowledge of the different Boston neighborhoods in regards to living with a dog.

Specializing in pet friendly real estate allows me to focus on the pet policies of the various Boston properties as well as the other needs of dog owners often not considered when choosing a place to live. By writing for my Fido Loves blog I have gained a very unique knowledge about living in Boston with your dog.
