Brant Rock is one of the best kept secrets! We often go there towards evening as the light is fantastic and if you are really lucky, you may see the moon rising on the water. My dogs, past and present, have loved this beach though there are better "running" beaches. Great spot for a quick dip.

Don't miss the food at the little take out clam shack on the corner. Really fantastic and if you ask nicely, they may make their no-longer-on-the-menu lobster mac and cheese.

Went to Salsbury Beach and talked to one of the beach guards and they let me take glacier just north of there about 1/4 mile up the street. There is a small sign where their territory ends.It doesnt say anything about dogs not being allowed and an access to the beach. Parking is sketchy. Nobody said a word. There were no other dogs in sight.
We had a time good together. Waves can be rough at this beach. It was her first time at the ocean. She went under once or twice.
Give it a chance. See what happens. If i rember correctly, their is a cove just north of the beach where the water is calmer. Didnt get a chance try there yet. Mabey next time.

       Good luck
