A Behaviorist, Dog Lovers and “BEST IN SHOW”

It’s all about dogs and the people who love them at the Coolidge Corner Theatre on Monday, March 15 at 7:00pm, with a special screening of BEST IN SHOW, master mockumentarian Christopher Guest’s hilarious send-up of competitive canine culture, paired with a talk by Nicholas Dodman, one of the world’s leading veterinary behaviorists. Bright Spot Therapy Dog Workshops

Beginning and Advanced Therapy Dog Workshops have been scheduled for Saturday, March 27th and Saturday, April 17th, in Northampton Massachusetts. Cynthia Hinckley, who was kind enough to write the therapy dog article for Fido loves, will be your instructor. Pizza, Beer And a Good Cause; MSPCA-Angell
Thursday Night January 28th from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, there will be an after work party for people who love pets in the Seaport District organized by MSPCA-Angell and sponsored by Upper Crust Pizza and The Harpoon Brewery. Going out on a Thursday Night after work is so much better when you are standing in a room full of people with a common interest. Myopia Sled Dog Races, 2010
Quickly coming up the weekend of January 16-17 th is the Myopia Sled Dog Races in Hamilton MA. You can expect more than 200 dogs at this event. Dog Friendly Holiday Events In Boston, 2009

It is the Holiday Season and I am looking forward to attending some pet friendly holiday events in Boston where my dog is welcome as well. During Halloween we attended some fantastic parades and benefits for not just the Boston dog world but other causes which deserve attention too.
This post will be continually updated as we become aware of more tree lighting ceremonies, pet photo shoots with Santa, Christmas parties and if I can find a Hanukkah party where dogs are invited or to benefit a dog related cause in Boston.
