Halloween Costume Dog Party, Durty Harry’s

This past Friday evening Margie Moose and I went to a Halloween costume party for dogs at Durty Harry’s in Charlestown. Word on the street said there would be a great turn out from the Charlestown dog community and the dog costume party “Should be a Howl”. It turns out the word on the street was dead on. Here is our take on the event and some photos I took…

Durty Harry’s was hosting an open house costume party to benefit the MSPCA where dogs in their Halloween costumes romped around and their human companions socialized over treats and cocktails. I was surprised how much fun attending a Halloween Party for dogs turned out to be. Actually it was just like hanging out at the dog park where the dogs get much needed exercise (tying to chew off another dogs costume) and the adults socialize (But with a beer or glass of wine in hand). Both Margie and I made new friends ourselves and remarked how much fun the party at Durty Harry’s turned out to be. Moose our ever faithful dog was completely tuckered out well into the following Saturday.

personally I would like to thank Michelle, Jenny and Durty Harry for putting on a great event. Everyone I chatted with was having a blast as well. Moose certainly expects Harry to teach him how to get the dog treats out of the gumball machine as well.

Here are the halloween dog costume photos I shot that night. I wish I had more but got caught with a dead flash. If other would like to add to the album please forward them on and I will add them in.
