Toss Your Dog A Milk-Bone

One way of grabbing your dog’s attention is to have great dog treats on hand. Something new and smelly, at least to a dog, makes a big difference. I go through more dog treats and squeaker toys than you would ever imagine photographing dogs in Boston. When a rep from Milk-Bone reached out to me and asked if I would like to try some of the new Milk-Bone Healthy Favorites Dog Snacks, I replied with a resounding yes.

For today’s photo-shoot we used some of the different Milk-Bone snacks which were sent to us. There is now a Milk-Bone Healthy favorites line that smells good enough to grab Moose’s attention even after I have thrown nearly a whole box in attempt to get the perfect shot.

On a side note: The Milk-Bone Healthy Favorites line of dog snacks includes chewy treats, which might be perfect for older dogs with teeth in rough shape. The are soft and easy to chew. The Granola Biscuits are crunchy. Both worked well for grabbing Moose’s attention.

Regardless, I was able to get a few great shots of our dog tearing through the paper to catch dog treats in his mouth. We both had a blast. I originally had a much more elaborate photo concept for photographing dogs and dog treats, but I will save that for another day when I have more treats on hand.
