Halloween is upon us and the pet parades began with the Divas Unleashed 2009, Annual Halloween Pet Parade and Fashion Show. After meeting at the Doggie Day Play Center in the South End of Boston, a fantastic group of costume clad dogs and owners paraded with style into the heart of the Boston Common. Led by a marching band this mob of Divas was impossible not to notice.

All of this wackiness was for good reason. Divas Unleashed 2009 benefited both the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Animal Rescue League of Boston. Two terrific causes well worth dressing dogs up in Halloween costumes and disrupting the city of Boston to raise money and awareness.

I will fill in a little more information regarding money raised and those who sponsored the event. I will have that information in this article in the next day or two. Today I wanted to get the photos I took up for others to see. I apologize for the half written article.
