    If you are looking for a Thursday evening on the town where your dog is welcome, check out the "Dog Days of Summer" at the Hyatt Cambridge on Memorial Drive. The staff at the Hyatt is opening their courtyard for a dog friendly cocktail hour. As of now, this new event will be held each Thursday evening of June from 5:30 pm till 8:30, possibly later if there is a crowd.

We decided to take the dog for a walk and watch the sunset from the Cambridge side of the Charles River. We still got stuck in traffic and arrived on Memorial Drive later than planned. Regardless, the views from the other side of the river are stunning.
